Japanese Antique Wooden Board Art Single Board Grain of wood 1940s Wabi-Sabi

About the Item

This is an old Japanese wooden board. It is a single board with beautiful wood grain. I think this was probably used for the top of the work table. It was already in this state when I found it. It is large and looks impressive when hung on the wall. You can see how big it is compared to the chair. A single board this big is rare, so I think it would be great to hang it on the wall or use it as a low table. How about adding it to your antique collection? We will always suggest the best shipping method. Please contact us first. We also introduce many other Japanese antique furniture and objects collected from all over Japan. Please take a look if you like.

Since ancient times, people have created and inherited necessary tools from familiar materials to survive in the severe struggle against nature, and have nurtured a lifestyle culture. Over the years, tools acquire a distinctive flavor and reflect the way of life. The more severe the natural environment and the weaker we are, the stronger the power of tools becomes. In today's world, where cheap and disposable products are encouraged, the act of repeatedly re-creating things around us by modifying them opens up a new world.
