Very old Japanese wooden mortar. It is from the Meiji period (1860-1900s). The material is cedar. It is a rare shape that can only be made in the northern region of Japan. It has a wonderful taste and presence. It is truly a Japanese folk art. It weighs 15.8 kg. It is recommended for plant covers.
