Antique Japanese Plate with Cranes 1960s

About the Item

This is an antique plate which was made around 1960s in Showa era. This plate is hand painted. It is made in Japan. There is two cranes on this plate. Two cranes walking or flying together is the ultimate symbol of longevity. Since cranes fly in the clear blue sky above the dusty earth, they are also considered symbols of cleanliness and purity. Dimensions: 25 x 25 x H3.8 cm.
