About the Item
From our collection of Blue and White porcelain, this 19th Century pair of Chinese jars and covers with Shi Shi dog knops. The vases with panels of playful decoration of birds flying above peony bushes. The panels on a stylised foliate ground. The rims and foot with an eclectic floral design, the lids matching, with a prunus rim.
Kang Hsi mark to the underside.
