A later example of one of the rarest patterns in Japanese Imari porcelain, 'The Black Ship' Vibrantly decorated with five vignettes of Dutch sailing ships divided by standing Dutchmen within an intricate trellis background.
Marked with a Fukagawa character mark in red.
