Pair of Chinese Plate India Compagny 18th Century
About the Item
Pair of Chinese plates with floral motifs from the Compagnie des Indes dating from the 18th century. It is decorated in the centre with a flower bouquet. The outline is decorated with a garland of flowers intertwined with an element of passementerie. These two soup plates were made for export, recognizable by the European inspiration of the flowers. The decorations are hand-painted.
