Beautiful pair of ornaments in the shape of foo dogs, protectors of the home and the world. One represents the woman with the child in her hand and one controls the world with its paw. They were used as furnishing objects or bookends.
They are in petroleum blue glazed majolica, in perfect condition.
Chinese manufacture from the beginning of the 20th century.
