17th Century Huanghuali Book Stand

About the Item

This book stand is all original without any replacement pieces. The piece has very clean lines and a simple form typical of the Ming style which emphasizes purity of form. The two ends of the top rail are decorated with the "good-wish" cloud motifs. When open flat, the piece measures 30.75 inches. Material: Huanghuali Origin: Hebei Age: 17th Century
