About the Item
Antique mid-size tansu with 4 drawers - product of Meiji to Taisho period (estimate 1868-1926).
Made with traditional woodworking jointly without metal fastener.
Finished with urushi lacquer, remains in good wabi sabi touch.
Smooth opening & closing operation for all drawers.
There're two minor surface losses on the top boards - These don't affect the structure. As well as Wabi Sabi element of this Tansu.
