Antique Nautical Ship Bench

About the Item

This is a very unique item, It was a bench used on the rear of an old ship. There are handles made of iron that were used to move it on an off the ship when it wasn't needed. The origin is Sag Harbor NY. A seaside village dating from the 1600's. I am sure it was used on one of the many old ships that occupied the harbors here over the years. There are three doors below for storage and hand carved arms that are securely fastened to the bench. Its a beautiful and unique piece of history. Make a great entryway piece or any unique nook. This bench is slid and well constructed.
