Asian Art Deco Cabinet with Diamond Glass
About the Item
A rare Art Deco style cabinet from the China's republic era. The two tiered cabinet comprises of a lower chest with 2 drawers and 2 shelves, and a top chest with 2 shelves. The top doors with rare diamond glass panels sparkle brilliantly. The lower doors are decorated with geometric design and a pair of carved flowers. Art Deco was found only in the city of Shanghai in the early 1920s. This short yet glamourous period manifested Chinese society's evolution. Its high style remains highly sophisticated till this day. Adjustable shelves. Solid wood.
