C. 1850 Italian Burl Walnut Writing Desk
About the Item
Our finest Italian desk to date. This superb mid 19th century Burl Walnut Writing Desk originates from Italy and remains in exceptional antique condition. The burl walnut hue is light honeycomb and features beautiful darker walnut hued grain, swirled throughout. Straight columned legs, original drawer pulls and key, are premiere features of this piece and as you'd expect from such a quality writing desk, a pull out desk top is also included. This is such a remarkable piece, and photos just don't quite do it justice. Perfect for a stately office.
