Early 19th Century Black Lacquer Cabinet

About the Item

This black lacquer cabinet has a mitered body frame with floating panels. The thick lacquer finishes are well preserved; however, the gilt paintings are quite worn already. From the remaining traces of the paintings, we can see motifs of the eight treasures of Taoism. Wood: Linden Origin: Shanxi Period: E. 19th C. Final Sale.
