About the Item
Round Cornered Cabinet - Early 19th Century
This type of cabinet is referred to as round cornered tapered construction
with a beaded protruding top frame member. There are two interior
drawers. The legs have a round outer surface and squared inside.
The cabinet has the standard mitered mortise and tenon joint frame
member construction. This kind of tapered cabinet is typical of Ming
style furniture.
