Fine Carved Asian Mixed Wood Center Table or Sculpture Stand
About the Item
Fine Asian Stand in a tightly grained Elm like hardwood with inset Burl Wood Centerpiece. The table with a dark burled inset center, surrounded with two mixed wood two- tone pieced bands. The wide frieze below carved with foliate bands and palmettes in low relief. Raised on tall curved legs inserted into the frieze and with carved foliate feet.
Diameter: 31 1/2", H. 33 3/4"
Condition: Please see detail photos. The Burl inset has a slight lift on one side approximately 1/8” and there are some stable age cracks to the pieced top bands, some filled age cracks, some spots and wear to the frieze band and slight finish loss in areas all mentioned for accuracy as the Stand presents very well.
