Japanese Choba (Merchant) Tansu, Kiri/Sugi Wood, Meiji Period

About the Item

One section Choba (Merchant) Tansu, Kiri/Sugi wood, Meiji period Configuration of drawers and sliding doors. One large drawer at the top, sliding door and rows of three drawers, then a medium size drawer and bottom part has two small drawers and a small door with two drawers behind it. Combination wood of kiri (pawlonia) and sugi (cedar), with handforged iron handles. Very good condition.
