A Korean Step Tansu

About the Item

Korean step tansu, also known as "pyung sang," are traditional Korean furniture pieces designed for storage and organization. They typically consist of a series of stacked drawers or cabinets arranged in a step-like fashion, with each step being slightly smaller than the one below it. The top step often features smaller compartments or drawers, while the larger steps below provide ample storage space. This tansu was crafted from Elm in China. Korean step tansus serve not only as storage solutions but also as decorative elements, adding a touch of traditional charm to any living space. This piece comes in two parts.
