Late 19th Century Rosewood Chinese Carved And Inlaid Low Tea Table

About the Item

Chinese carved low table with mother of pearl inlaid base, diamond form pierced top and covered with glass. The table with carved, scalloped and pierced frieze running all around the perimeter with mother of pearl inlaid with trailing vines and flowers on three sides. The table resting upon well carved stylized paw feet having a bun base with a square plinth. Dimensions: 32" L, 20 1/8" W and 12 3/4" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include missing some mother of pearl inlay, pierced work with stable age cracks protected by the glass, some spotting to finish along the border along with a small loss all mentioned for accuracy as the table presents in an exceptional Asian manner.
