Chinese Imperial Honorific Cloisonné Bowl Carved Jade Medallion & Ring Handles China, 20th Century An exquisite Chinese Imperial honorific cloisonné bowl from the 20th century, a masterwork of craftsmanship and cultural significance. The interior of the bowl features intricate 'Lishui' (waves) in cloisonné, adorned with a central gilt bronze medallion depicting a dragon in clouds. This captivating piece is supported by flanking gilt bronze and enameled handles, each measuring 6 inches long x 2.75 inches across and adorned with inset jade carvings measuring 2.5 inches long x 1.75 inches across. The lower handles are gracefully mounted with 2.5-inch diameter jade rings, a unique addition. The entire body of the bowl is profusely cloisonné enameled with floral and vine motifs, interspersed with cartouche of dragons. Bearing a Chinese honorific seal mark, underscoring its significance and bygone authenticity.
