A pair of Meiji period blue cloisonne vases, each with a peacock on a rocky outcrop surrounded by flowering peony plants on a dark blue ground, the peacocks facing each other, with silvered rims and in their original boxes, one rim with a small dent. Japanese, circa 1900.
