Small Chinese Cloisonné Lidded Box decorated with peaches, Circa 1930
About the Item
This is a very decorative Chinese cloisonné lidded box which we date to the 20th century, Circa 1930.
The box has a cylindrical shape, with its original lid and is all beautifully made with colored enamels set into a blue ground.
The main decoration to the body and the lid shows branches of orange / yellow peaches with green leaves all in different shades with good authentic detail. Both the outer lid and the main box have continuous lappet border patterns in salmon to their edges. The insides of the lid, the box and the base of the box are finished in a turquoise blue, typical of Chinese cloisonné.
Overall a very beautiful small Chinese cloisonne box.
