Created in China during the Qing dynasty, this 19th century cabinet attracts our attention with its beautifully contrasting colors and carved motifs. Depicting the bodhisattva Guanyin as well as Daoist immortals, the façade presents small doors in the upper section followed by two larger ones creating a focal point with their black ground highlighting their decorative motifs to perfection.
