Impressive modern style Japanese Showa period four panel byobu screen depicting a flock of wild geese in flight over a stylized background. Delicate ink pigments over hand-crafted mulberry paper in a golden color. The screen is set in a wood frame with a dark silk brocade border. The geese stand out boldly over a dramatic gold sky and rolling waves. The screen is signed by artist Takeshun with a seal on the right side corner Good condition with solid joinery and framing.
