The manuscript features exquisitely decorated wooden covers on both sides, showcasing intricate designs that captivate the beholder. What sets this manuscript apart is its extraordinary lavishness, adorned with depictions of celestial beings, mythical creatures, and a captivating array of animals. Comprising a total of 16 pages, accompanied by two stunning wooden covers, it is a testament to the artistry of the Mandalay period in Burma, dating back to the 19th century. Crafted from gilded palm leaf, the manuscript showcases black lacquer lettering, adding an elegant touch to its overall aesthetic. With dimensions of approximately 56cm (22 inches) in length and 14cm (5.5 inches) in width, it strikes a harmonious balance between size and detail. Despite its grandeur, the manuscript weighs a manageable 2.3kg (5lb), allowing for easy handling and display.
