About the Item

Yan Zhen born 1930 is a Chinese poet, painter, and calligrapher, best known in China for his writing. Yan has published over 30 works of literature, including poetry, prose, and fiction. This RARE 3 volume set titled "The Paintings of the Yan Zhen", which includes almost 400 images of oil paintings and water color paintings that he had completed before 2008. The set is rare and hard to find comprised of 3 softbound volumes presented in a fluted soft cardboard slip case. Published by SY Gallery. Printed in China by Beijing Arton Colour Printing Co. Dimensions: 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 2 7/8" (complete with slipcase). Each volume approx. 3/4" to 1". Condition: Volume 1 with yellowing along the bottom cover, encrusted wear/soil to slipcase. Slipcase is very tight. Please see photos for details of condition. The books are in otherwise good condition with no marks or tears.
