Bronze Toy Horse
About the Item
Cast bronze toy horse on four wheels. Reminiscent of early 19th century Indian toys, these pieces were often left as offering in temples for children to find. The gift of the horse to the Gods was believed to leave one in high standings. This one is adorned with golden reigns and sun figures.
