Japanese Old Garden House Model Stone Lantern

To your garden from Japan, and a recent Japanese acquisition Here's a beautiful and unique way to accent your indoor or outdoor garden space with this treasure from Japan! This is a hand carved lantern of one of Japan's great historic architectural forms - the garden house or "minka- Kusaya" model house artistically crafted in three pieces as a wonderful and useful stone lantern. Hand carved from gray basalt stone, it measures 16 inches high and 14 inches wide, three pieces This is a good example with detailed roof line representing an old thatched roof, visually beautiful and appealing. Original old patina and surface wear from former garden use as you might expect from an old garden work of art. Many of our customers place LED candles inside the main section making a romantic and enjoyable decorative accent for entertaining friends and family. It's a perfect choice for your indoor or outdoor garden space. Notice the very nice patina from age. This lantern is one-of-a-kind and comes from an old Northern Japanese garden.
