Antique Embroidered Chinese Wall Hanging
About the Item
This is an incredible wall hanging made of embroidered silk satin. An antique piece from China, the traditional motifs show repeated scene of dragons and birds in perfect detail in polychrome silks. The hand embroidery is immaculate and shows a high level of skill, the rich colours are those used throughout traditional Chinese textiles, and some may have implied symbolic meanings, such as a hope for luck and happiness implied by red background. This hanging is meant to grace a joyful home, and ensure its continuing happiness. Beautiful workmanship, it's sure to bring warmth and joy to any room you display it in. One of a kind.
