About the Item

Hand-carved in Italy during the 19th century, this antique marble base features elegant acanthus leaf scrollwork and a central pinecone motif on each side, symbols of classical design. The lower edge is adorned with a row of arches accented in rich gold leaf, adding a refined touch to its sculptural form. Reclaimed from its original setting, it bears the gentle patina of age, making it an exquisite pedestal for sculpture, urns, or as a standalone decorative statement.
