About the Item

Clock frame from demolished NYC building, circa 1900. Its 6-foot frame, forged in iron, roman numerals hammered out on an anvil, is more than a century old, many of those years spent in obscurity. A rare, prized sculpture. Documented provenance of this clock frame does not exist. Several collectors have suggested it was displayed on the exterior of a demolished NYC building originally built in the early 20th century. Mounted on a large wall in your home or rehabbed warehouse, this clock frame will be a remarkable sculpture and conversation piece. No longer telling time, its handless face speaks, without saying, to its timeless nature and historical provenance.
