Early 20th Century Antique Bronze Fluted Lamp Post with a Triangular Base.
About the Item
Amazing antique bronze exterior fluted lamp post with a beautiful green patina. The post is 78" tall and the fluted column is 8" at the base and tapers to 5" with a octagon shape top to hold a glass globe. The triangular base has acanthus leaf with decorative fluting and was most likely attached to a marble or granite slab. This is a very hard to find piece that at one time may have been part of a pair in front of a commercial or municipal building maybe a library, it's a great piece.
