One of the Six Sets of Four Ceramic Tiles with Angels, circa 1930

About the Item

This is an amazing set of 4 handmade tiles with 4 different stylized angel/putti designs in very light blue with white back ground. Manufactured around 1930 in Hasselt "Majoli¬ques de Hasselt", the Netherlands. In total 24 tiles of 4 designs available. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Please note that the piece is for 1 set of 4 tiles with 4 different designs. 6 sets available. Size each tile: 6 inches (15.2 cm) width x 6 inches (15.2 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of there age and craftsmanship.
