William Morris Styled Craven, Dunnil & Jackfield Art Pottery Decorative Tile

About the Item

This large antique decorative tile was made by Craven, Dunnil & Jackfield of England in approximately 1890 and done in a period Art Nouveau style. The tile is done with a thick pottery with a glossy cream ground on the top with a number of stylized flowers done in cobalt blue and turquoise. The tile is clearly stamped in multiple places with the maker's signature for the Craven, Dunnil & Jackfield company and done in the tradition of William Morris.
