Circular Push-Pull Door Handle in Bronze, Mid-20th Century, France

About the Item

Circular push-pull door handle in bronze (or brass), mid-20th century, France. A very simple elegant handle, made up of two separate pieces - each side with a slightly concave dish and wide stem. The components are in fair vintage condition with signs of wear, as one might expect from age and use - including scratches and dings - and a mellow aged patina. The handle is set up to use either side of a single glass door, however you could consult your fitter to enable the two pieces to work on thicker doors, or alongside one another on double doors if you wish. One side is fitted with a bolt (2cm), which we have not tried to remove. Approximate dimensions for one side of the handle: Diameter 13.5cm Projection from face of door to front rim of one piece 5.5cm. Approximate weight: 2.1 kg total
