Large Early 20th Century French Pine Double Door
About the Item
Exceptionally high French double door from the early 20th century, probably around 1910. Solidly made of pine.
Double-leaf residential door in frame construction with 3 panelled panels per door leaf.
The double door can be installed with 4 iron hinges per leaf. Right-hand door with the original lock, but without key and fittings. Left door with "hold-open" at the top and bottom.
The surface has been stripped of its old colour finish and sanded. Now the softwood can easily be re-coloured, varnished, oiled or simply used in its untreated, raw state.
