Classical Design English Brass and Copper Coal Hod

About the Item

A fine quality brass and copper coal hod. Classical design, English, late 19th century. Original lift-out handled liner. Associated shovel. The repousse door panel is copper, as are the fluted, tapered colonettes of the handle. Raised on inverted acorn feet. Hinges reattached on inside of cover. 12 1/2" w., 18 1/2" d., 17" h.
