About the Item

Fireback with the coat of arms of Phillipe II of Spain dated 1608. It bears the motto: "DOMINUS MIHI ADJUTOR". A similar fireback, bearing the same date, is kept in the Arlon Museum and is reproduced in the book "Plaques de cheminées" by Henri Carpentier.
