French Louis XVI Style 19th Century Cast Brass Rococo Fire Screen Steel Mesh

About the Item

French Louis XVI style 19th century cast brass with steel mesh classic fire screen. This heavy quality cast brass screen is adorned with floral and ribbon swags that drape over the fine steel mesh. The integral top handle is framed by classic flame finials. She sits on nicely detailed cabriole legs. This well balanced screen helps to protect from sparks and adds a decorative motif to the fireplace whether a fire is lit or not, so it makes a lovely four season accent to one's room. Circa 1870 27" wide x 8" deep at the feet x 31 1/4" high overall
