A beautiful polished brass Thomas Jeckyll register front with black-iron reeded fire bars and guillotine drafting mechanism. From the foundry of Barnard, Bishop and Barnards, this Thomas Jeckyll register cast in brass represents the very highest quality in fine casting. The intricate asymmetric floral design is typical of Jeckyll and gives a hand-built character to this early mass production technique. Restored. Circa 1870
