An imposing 19th century Breche Violette marble French chimneypiece in the Rococo Revival manner. The Jambs and Frieze feature Rococo S and C-scrolls, forming 4 serpentine aperture, surrounded by an arc-en-arbolette shelf. The Frieze has panels astride a stylized shell cartouche. (19th century).
