An antique black fossil and Portoro marble fireplace made during the William IV period (1830’s). The shelf, jambs, frieze and foot-blocks are made from black marble with subtle fossils, this complements the richly coloured black and gold ‘Nero Portoro’ marble mouldings which frame the opening. Circa 1835
