An antique late Georgian Ashburton marble fire surround. In elegant architectural form, its large size makes this marble fireplace suitable for the main room of a period townhouse or Regency style property. Amongst its numerous elegant features is the striking mantel, supported on consecutive cut square and turned columns, embellished with statuary marble capitals and bases. Additional Dimensions: Opening Height 102cm (40.16in) Opening Width 101cm (39.76in) CONDITION REPORT Good structural condition. Restoration to the mantle. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor Losses, scuffs, and scratches.
