The Florentine: A Stone Fireplace Inspired by the Italian Renaissance

About the Item

Our Florentine fireplace, named after the beautiful Italian city of Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, is inspired by design from that era. The legs feature a deep scrolling top, and a smaller scroll at the bottom, above chamfered square plinths. Wide fluting follows the face of legs from top to bottom. Above the legs is a classic lintel piece, with two square recessed panels on either side, directly above each leg, and another wider panel that runs the span between the two smaller panels. Additional carved details may be added inside these panels on request. The top shelf piece flares out dramatically, with several layers of molding. The Florentine looks beautiful in limestone or marble, and works well in a Living Room, Library, Great Room, or larger Primary Bedroom. Custom sizes are available.
