A large French 19th Century Cast Iron fireplace insert. An outer flange border, with concave returns with high relief cast embellishments showing wonderful examples of foliage and fruit, set within framed borders, a generous internal fire opening measuring 590mm wide x 658mm high. The outer flange that sits behind the fireplace measures 25mm wide. French 1880c.
