George IV Ashburton Marble Fireplace

About the Item

A George IV Ashburton marble fireplace, circa 1820-1830, the shelf supported by twin corbels either side of the moulded frieze, the jambs each with conforming mouldings, on square footblocks. Restored, repaired and ready for installation. Dimensions: 119.5cm (47") High, 167.5cm (66") Wide, 26cm (10¼") Deep, Opening width 97.5 cm x 96.5 cm high, Outside jamb to jamb width 147.5 cm
