Good Quality Engraved Firegrate

About the Item

A very fine quality brass and steel Georgian style firegrate. The tapering legs with bell drop and rosette engraving, surmounted by urn finial with guilloche detailing. The pierced fret with beading to top and bottom and floral motifs and drapery throughout. The burning area with bowed cast iron front bars surmounted by urn finials. Plain iron back behind.
