Large Antique Cast Iron Fire Grate

A large late 19th century cast iron fire grate, salvaged from a farmhouse in Suffolk. This antique fire grate is ideal for a large fireplace in the main room of a country or period style home, its wide basket suitable for burning larger logs. The striking stepped back showcases a shield reading ‘MC 1880’. Width of front 116 cm (45.67 in) Width of back 54 cm (21.26 in)
