Mid 19th Century Diminutive Wire & Brass Fire Fender with Scroll Design
About the Item
This is absolutely the sweetest small fire fender with a brass top, iron wire front with a scroll design and and iron base. The brass top is tarnished but I'm sure will polish easily, the wire, iron rod supports and base all have black paint remnants but are rusted and show age. otherwise, the fender is in good condition I love things with aged patina so I have not tried to clean this lovely piece but I think a new coat of heat resistant paint will make it good as new.
The fender is 30 inches wide, 9 1/4 inches high and 7 inches deep and would be perfect for a small fireplace or stove.
