We are delighted to offer for sale this extremely rare and very collectable, circa 1840-1860 Louis XVI style Saint Remy Marble fireplace. This fireplace is one of three I have purchased, they originate from Paris France, made in Saint Remy marble, there are two large mid-19th century examples and one extra-large 18th century piece. They came from a friend and colleague who specialises in architectural salvage from Chateaus Castles and generally places of distinction in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the surrounding areas The piece has been carefully transported and is in very fine order throughout, it breaks down into four easy to transport and install pieces as you can see in the pictures.
