A robustly carved 19th Century George II style pine chimneypiece of impressive scale in the manner of William Kent. The central tablet bearing the mask of Bacchus, flanked by a running frieze of vines. The deep console jambs capped by acanthus scrolls and corner blocks carved with scallop shells.
